Manufacturing innovative damage prevention devices that monitor goods- in-transit and equipment-in-use. Examples include: the ShockWatch Label, TiltWatch®, ColdMark®, WarmMark®, FleetControlManager™, EquipManager®, and ImpactManager®.

In 1976, the ShockWatch division was formed when one of the engineers at Media Recovery designed a monitoring device to detect shipping damage to a customer's computer media (round reels). The monitoring devices were hugely successful, and it soon became clear that there were many other fragile products that could use this type of monitoring.

ShockWatch expanded its product line to include other types of monitoring devices including heat and cold sensors, tilt indicators, and other devices capable of recording impact and vibration information. In addition to their line of shipping and handling monitors, ShockWatch is also a pioneer in manufacturing an extensive array of fleet management devices that control equipment access and monitor equipment usage- used extensively on forklift fleets and other material handling equipment. Today, ShockWatch products can be found in thousands of applications, and are sold by a direct sales staff of damage prevention specialists and an extensive worldwide network of distributors in the USA and in more than 62 countries.
